I cannot believe I am saying this but school is already back in session and summer is only a weekend away from being unofficially over. Where did the time go? I honestly feel like this was the fastest summer I can remember! With the end of summer comes the end of Javon's summer bucket list. Sadly we are no where near getting all 100 things done but we put in a good effort and made so many fun memories along the way so that is all that counts! This update is long over due and will not be the last, but there will only be one more update after this to wrap up the summer bucket list! Although we wish summer lasted forever in this house, we have a very exciting fall season ahead of us, with Javon starting soccer, his 5th birthday and a big vacation coming soon the fun never ends. That is why Javon and I have decided to continue the fun with a "Fall Fun List" so keep an eye out for that coming very soon as well! So let's jump into the update, it's not a huge one but we are still chugging along!
26. Play at a splash pad
Although I blogged about our splash pad visit I never added it to our list of completed items!
34. Go to Dutch Wonderland
We love this little amusement park and we think your family would too!
35. Make a new friend
Javon started soccer this week, and made 5 new friends!
50. Paint rocks
This was a small disaster, big rocks are hard to find in this neighborhood apparently, and our dog likes finger paint..He still has blue spots on his fur. Of course Javon loved it.
51. Look for shapes in the clouds
Jesus on a jetski? A ghost? Imagination gone wild!
57. Take a surprise day trip
Our trips to Cherry Crest Farm and Lake Tobias were both surprise day trips!
59. Go to Lake Tobias
A summer must-do for us!

There is nothing better then an ooey-gooey s'more!
75. Play on a slip+slide
A childhood classic!

We had such a great time, we cannot wait to return in the fall!
85. Ride bumper boats
Javon took his first bumper boat ride this weekend while visiting Adventure Park U.S.A (blog coming soon)
The total now stands at 56 down! Hopefully we can check off a few more before Labor Day!
